Birthday cards

This has been a long week. My Dad has been in the hospital since Saturday, hopefully he will get to come home tomorrow.  This is a reason I feel so blessed to be able to stay at home and home school Jr; when things like this happen we can take care of family and do school without being overwhelmed.

So I had three cards to make this week.  The guy that my hubby works with every night birthday was last month and the school nurse birthday is tomorrow and my mother in law has her birthday this weekend.

The first card I ended up making 3 before I was happy.  I think it turned out so cute! The window is cut with Stampin' Up! Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies, Brick Wall embossing folder; the moose is from Darcie's heart & home~Moosed Birthday.  I colored him with Tim Holtz distressed markers.

The next one is a super simple, quick and cute birthday card.  I used a stamp from one of the Paper Pumpkin kits and four ink pads from Stampin' Up! for the "dots" and "happy birthday", old CTMH checker paper and embellishments

My Mother in law will receive my very first shaker card.  No I didn't take a picture of it, it was cute but not my best work.  They are harder than they make it seem on the youtube videos that I have been watching.

Now back off to the hospital!
