Retirement card

There are two teachers retiring this year so I have been trying to make some retirement cards.  It is really hard to find stamps for them.  😢  I have been watching a lot of youtube videos and came across a way to make a card that I haven't seen before.  BJ Peters has a video on how she created them.  I love her videos!

Well since I have a ton of CTMH paper I have decided to make a bunch of cards to get rid of it.  Yes, I have a paper hording problem.  Now that I have found Stampin' Up! (signed up to be a demo hubby lost job so no money for my fun times so quit) I love their ink and paper a lot better.  I even like their stamps better.  (so I just might sell most of my CTHM stamps and I have a ton of them also)  Sorry, off on a bunny trail.

Isn't that just the cutest type of card?!?!

So the dimensions for this is 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" typical card so far, but the scoring is 3" and 7 1/4".  The pattern paper is-- for the inside 4" x 5 1/4", the next is 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" and the very first one is 3 1/2" x 5 1/4".  I used the next to largest stitched oval folded it in half and attached used a button badge from my stash and thin twine.  The second page that you come to I used mini banner from Stampin' Up! and look a "Happy Retirement"  that came from My Pink Stamper from years ago.  I have all of her stamps and those I will keep them forever.  The pretty flower is from Stampin' Up! Oh So Succulent stamp set and I used the thinlit for this one instead of the framelit, it has more details in it.  The inside I just hand wrote a note.  Now to choose which teacher gets this one.💙
